I finally got around to organizing my spice drawer and let me tell you it looks amazing! Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it will help me save money too! I know you are probably thinking how can organizing your spices help save money right?! The number one reason for me is double purchasing! Well, in my case triple purchasing! I don’t know how I managed to buy three different containers of cinnamon. I guess I just assumed whenever I went grocery shopping I needed cinnamon for whatever reason lol.

By organizing your spices you are able to see exactly what you have or don’t have. You don’t necessarily have to purchase spice jars for your spices but if you like a more uniform look then I would highly suggest these spice jars from Amazon. They are inexpensive but look amazingly beautiful! Plus they come with a ton of labels.

I started by removing all the current spices and being sure to check expiration dates. I was surprised at the number of out dated spices I had.

Next I cleaned the space. I used my hand vacuum to get out all the particles and then gave the drawer a good wipe down.

Replaced with a cabinet liner and added these super nice spice drawer organizers. This spice organizer hands down a must if you want to elevate the look of your drawer!

Final step is to fill your spice jars and arrange them according to your liking. You could arrange them alphabetically, by color or even by usage. I arranged my spices according to the ones I use the most. So the most used spices are up front.

This project did not take long. The tedious part is filling the jars with the spices but other than that it’s a breeze.
